In 2020, I was hired by the owner of Fireball Tool, Jason Marburger, to lead video production for his company. During our first year of collaboration, he approached me with a big idea: to create a sci-fi inspired office to host on-site video production & post-production work. I championed this idea, and that’s when the design process started. Over time, more people joined the team and contributed toward this monumental project.

My role was twofold: (1) I directed and produced the video series documenting the build; and (2) I collaborated on design direction with Lead Designer Jason Marburger and Concept Artist Andrew Anderson, while producing signature installations such as the large-format ceiling “skylight” screen and the custom glass “star map.” The result is a two-story, fully functional editing environment that comfortably houses eight team members across seven permanent stations and one flex station.
